Reading of the Testimonies
Join us for a global commemoration to mark the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide April 7th 2009. Host a Reading of the Testimonies in a public space in your city to help raise awareness about the consequences of genocide and the ongoing challenges survivors face on a daily basis.
The Reading of the Testimonies is a result of the many requests we received by individuals and organizations interested in organizing commemoration events in cities around the world to stand in solidarity with survivors of the Rwandan genocide. The Reading of the Testimonies is a project of Survivors Fund (SURF) and Foundation Rwanda and will launch at the United Nations in New York City on April 7, 2009.
